Terms of Service

Welcome to ShareWipe ("the App" or "we"). This agreement is between you ("user" or "you") and the operator of the App regarding the use of the App and related services. By downloading, installing or using the App, you indicate that you have read and agree to this agreement and the Privacy Policy.

The main features of the App include but are not limited to: • Import images/screenshots from the iOS Share Sheet or in-app; • On-device detection and prompts for possible sensitive information (e.g. faces, QR/barcodes, OCR text, email, phone, credit card, EXIF/GPS); • Redaction of user-selected areas (e.g. black block, mosaic, blur, as provided); • Generate "clean copy" and continue sharing via the system share; • Optional history (e.g. save clean copies, re-share, save to album, as provided); • Account (guest/Apple/Google sign-in) and settings sync (as provided). Important (core boundaries): • The App only generates a clean copy for sharing by default and does not modify your original files. • Unless you explicitly choose and authorize, we do not upload your images/screenshots to the cloud (see Privacy Policy). • Share Extension is subject to iOS limits; behaviour may vary by device/OS/memory. We strive for stability but are not liable beyond what is reasonable for system limits.

You may use some features as a guest or sign in with Apple/Google. We may assign an anonymous identifier to guests for settings sync, subscription benefits and cross-device consistency. You agree not to: • Upload, process or distribute illegal content; • Infringe others' privacy, portrait rights, copyright or other lawful rights; • Reverse-engineer, crack, bypass payment or disrupt the service; • Use the App for fraud, impersonation, unlawful surveillance or other misuse. If you breach these terms, we may restrict features, suspend or terminate service, and pursue legal remedies.

The App may offer subscriptions or one-time purchases (as shown in the App Store). Subscriptions are completed via Apple In-App Purchase (IAP). Unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends, the subscription will renew. You can manage or cancel in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Benefits are determined by Apple's transaction records and our validation. We may adjust benefits based on Apple callbacks and receipt validation to prevent abuse or fraud. Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, use Apple's official channel. We can provide purchase information to support your request but do not guarantee a refund.

The App and its content (including but not limited to software, UI, icons, text, trademarks) are protected by intellectual property law. Rights belong to us or the relevant right holders. You may not copy, modify, distribute or use them commercially without permission.

The App is provided "as is". We do not accept liability for service interruption, detection errors or poor experience due to network, device, system or third-party causes, except as required by law. Detection and redaction are for assistance only. You should verify the result before sharing. You are responsible for any disclosure or loss resulting from not checking the output. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages or data loss. Where liability applies, it is limited to the amount you actually paid for the relevant service (if any).

We may update this agreement for legal or product changes. Updates will be announced on our website or in the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
